Collaborative Unmanned Operations for Maritime Security
نویسنده
چکیده
Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL), in conjunction with Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems and Sensors and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs, performed a set of experiments in cooperation with the U.S. Navy involving collaborative, unmanned surface, and air vehicle mission execution. Our multi-domain, collaborative research focused on increasing unmanned vehicles’ ability to be useful partners in maritime security by effectively using intelligent onboard behaviors, collaborative control, and humansystem interfacing in environments that support limited communications.

Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories has been performing collaborative unmanned surface and unmanned air vehicle (USV and UAV, respectively) experiments in cooperation with the U.S. Navy. This multi-domain collaborative research focused on extending unmanned vehicles into useful partners in maritime security utilizing intelligent onboard behaviors, collaborative control, and efficie...
متن کاملMITIGATE: An Innovative Cyber-Security Maritime Supply Chain Risk Management System
Despite the importance of Critical Information Infrastructures (CIIs) and dynamic ICT-based maritime Supply Chains (SCs) for ports operations, state-of-the-art Risk Management (RM) methodologies for maritime environments pay limited attention to cyber-security and do not adequately address security processes for international SCs. Motivated by these limitations, we have developed and will valid...
متن کاملInvestigating alternative concepts of operations for a maritime security system of systems
For complex systems of systems, such as those required to perform maritime security, system architects have numerous choices they may select from, both in the components and in the way the system operates. Component choices, such as the length of a wing or the number of ground control stations, are often considered in tradespace studies, but this paper highlights the operational choices that ar...
